Old School Video Game Memories and Pizza

Summer is a great time of year. Growing up and having the summer off was a great time for fun.  You could sit at the house all day and do nothing but play sports like basketball and football or sit in front of the tv and play all of your favorite video games.  You could become a pro at tecmo bowl or street fighter.

Those were the days. The video games were easy enough to learn without having to read the manual.  There were only a couple of buttons but you could still do plenty of moves.

Get up early in the morning and have fun all day long with your controller.  The only thing that you were concerned with was what type of pizza to order.  Dominoes delivered fast and you had access to a cold 2-liter of coke.  Those were good times.

Now video games have advanced to the point that they look almost lifelike.  You need to take college level courses to become a beginner.  The video games now are really great, but I miss those days of old when video gaming was just starting to heat up.

During the summer I made sure to figure out how to beat all the boxers on Mike Tyson's Punchout. I went through a lot of pizza and mountain dew, but it got done.

Now you can play video games just about 24/7.  You don't even need a big time nintendo.  You can get and download games for free on your smartphone.  Angry birds can waste up a lot of your time.  It is like everything old is new again.  Those simple games on the smartphone are just what I am looking for.  You can get started in just a few minutes and you can still have some good fun.

Now all you have to do is order the pizza

Play Donkey Kong
