Netflix - Switching to Internet Streaming Only option

Recently made the switch on netflix from the 3 at a time plan to just using the internet streaming.  Why did I make the switch?  When I looked at it, I was only getting a few movies a week and the cost was really high.  Instead of spending almost 26 dollars a month, the monthly bill dropped down to 7.99.  That is a big drop and I can use the money on something else.  Plus, you are not getting a lot of the new releases on dvd anyway.  Netflix has that window where you have to wait for movies.

The internet streaming service works well.  The only issue that I have with it is that the content keeps changing. Sometimes the stuff that you want to see is available and sometimes it will just disappear on you.  The selection of streaming movies is not as vast as the dvd library too.  Netflix is really strong in the tv show area.  They have a lot of dvd tv series that I like to watch so I might end up going back to the dvd at home plan.

Watching a complete season of a tv show is one reason to get the dvd package.  When it comes to streaming you really need to get a streaming device like the roku to really get the best effects of netflix.  A roku box or a video gaming system that is netflix ready take your experience to the next level.  Watching movies on the computer is just not the way to go.

If you really love watching tv and movies, you have to get a netflix subscription.  They really made a few mistakes a few months back, but people will continue to come back because it is a good service.  If you are still looking for dvds, there are always the redbox kiosks that you can use.  Blockbuster express use to be an option but they started getting all crazy with their pricing plans.  Redbox got a little bit more expensive too, they went from a 1 dollar a night to 1.20 a night.  If you sign up for text messages they give out free rental codes each month.

Netflix streaming can provide many hours of entertainment.  It is a good value at 8 bucks a month.
